~*Kasumi*~
The name Kasumi means "mist" in Japanese.
This geisha is friendly and easy-going in nature.
She has patience and a mind for detail, making her the perfect instructor.
Kasumi does tend to let her mind wander from the task at hand when others side-track her with their gossip and idle chit chat. Not that she cares so much about their crisis-of-the-moment, she is more concerned about appearing rude if she doesn't listen.
Handmade glass geisha wearing a black kimono with a sparkling blue-green swirl of color on the lower half. The design I created reminded me of little lost souls or ghosts swirling up into the mist. Her obi and belt are made with matching colors. Tiny aqua and violet flowers decorate her hair.
She's holding a turquoise fan with a hint of sparkle in her delicate hands.
Aprox 2 inches or 50mm in height. The bead hole runs north to south.
This geisha comes with a signed collector card and her own stand for display.
Kiln annealed.
I use fine glass imported from Italy and Germany as well as special glass made right here in the USA.
My works are all one-of-a-kind creations.
